Electrohydraulic actuator with gas pressure governor for modulating or stepwise control of gas-fired heat generating equipment that operates with sufficient amounts of excess air,

  • with motorized setpoint adjuster controlled by an electric three-position controller

  • with mechanical minimum and maximum pressure limitation

  • with integrated safety shutoff function to EN 161

  • optionally with auxiliary switch

Gas pressure governor designed for:

  • atmospheric burners

  • stationary direct fired air heaters

  • industrial furnaces

  • influencing the air / gas ratio on burners equipped with a direct mechanical link (e.g. in connection with O2 trim control)

The combination of gas pressure governor and valve provides the functions of

  • gas pressure governor

  • safety shutoff valve, and

  • gas volume regulating unit (control valve or damper)

Suitable media, depending on the type of valve used:

  • Gases of families I, II and III

  • Biogas

  • Cold or hot air

Maximum operating pressure

  • 300...1200 mbar (depending on size, refer to VG... valves)

Setpoint setting range of outlet pressure

  • 0.5...250 mbar
